WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GALACTIO V8 AND V8 HD? ARE THE ROUTING ENGINES DIFFERENT?

The primary difference between the Galactio V8 and V8 HD platforms is their graphics rendering:
The V8 supports Low Definition screens (resolutions of 480×272 and similar), while V8 HD supports High Definition screens (resolutions 800×480 and larger).
Both Galactio platforms, V8 and V8 HD, have the same routing engines and features.

IS THE TMC SERVICE 24 HOURS?

Yes, TMC service on Galactio is available 24 hours a day, with no exceptions

WHY IS MY ROUTE SO WEIRD?

The route calculated by the system is based on the routing parameters.
To set the Routing type, tap on Tools option on the Home Screen. Tap on Routing option to enter the screen to select routing type.
By default, the system is set to Traffic aware routing.

HOW DO I CHECK MY SOFTWARE VERSION NUMBER?

Tap on Tools option on the Home Screen. Tap on Next button to go to the next screen.
Now, Tap on NavIQ Info option, the software version is under Software version line

HOW DO I CHECK MY DEVICE ID?

Tap on Tools option on the Home Screen. Tap on Next button to go to the next screen.
Now, Tap on NavIQ Info option, The Device ID is under Device ID / UUID line

HOW DO I CHANGE MY HOME OR OFFICE LOCATION ONCE I HAVE SET THEM?

You can delete your Home/Office from favourites and then set them again. You can also choose a favourite and set it as Home/Office, which will overwrite your earlier Home/Office selection.

HOW DO I DELETE MY HISTORY?

Tap on Tools option on the Home Screen. Tap on Next button to go to the next screen.
Now, Tap on Reset History option, and press Yes in the confirmation box.
